The Aptera Hybrid is a concept vehicle that aims to achieve 330 miles per gallon .

Aptera derives from Greek:

Insects without wings, constituting the seventh Linn[ae]n order of insects, an artificial group, which included Crustacea, spiders, centipeds, and even worms. These animals are now placed in several distinct classes and orders.

Certainly resembling a cross between a “wingless bug”, an old Pontiac Fiero, the external-wheeled Plymouth Prowler, and a CanAm three-wheeled motorcycle… all rolled into one. This baby will certainly send your eco-minded head soaring with visions of driving along the beach, or just as comfy on the curves of northern MA/NH coastline.
